WE SHARE A COMMON BELIEF IN THE VALUE OF HISTORIC STRUCTURES IN CONTEMPORARY LIFE

Patterhn Ives is an award-winning, St. Louis based architecture practice led by Anna Ives, Eric Hoffman, and Tony Patterson. Endorsed by long-standing relationships with past clients and communities throughout the region, we strive to impart a positive, lasting record through a commitment to design, research, innovation, and environmental stewardship.

We believe in a model that fundamentally challenges traditional architectural practice, with a unique focus on client satisfaction and personal attention. By limiting concurrent projects, all three partners maintain a key role for the full duration of each project, from concept to completion. Our services include architectural design, interior design, master planning, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse.

Our historic restoration studio is led by Dale Frens; formerly of the nationally recognized office, Frens & Frens. Our shared belief in the value and irreplaceable beauty of historic structures unites our offices as we practice together with attention to both the rich history and modern needs of our clients. We believe lives are enriched through a meaningful dialogue of historic revitalization and thoughtful intervention.

Patterhn Ives is a certified women-owned small business enterprise founded in 2014.
